Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Memorial Medical College (GSVMMC or GSVM Medical College) is a state run medical college in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. The college is named after Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi, a freedom fighter and journalist from Kanpur. It was founded in 1956. There is an annual intake of 190 students to the MBBS course, decided by an all India common entrance examination called NEET-UG. 15% of seats comes under all India quota and 85% of seats come under state quota.
GSVM Medical College offers multidisciplinary UG/ PG courses viz. MBBS with an intake of 190 students, MD/ MS/ PG Diploma courses in 11/ 6/ 4 specializations respectively. The Department of Cardiology offers Super Specialty courses of DM with 4 seats and M.Ch. with 2 seats.

Selection of the candidates for admission to MBBS course is done on the basis of NEET 2017 score.
Admission to the applicants into MD/ MS/ PG Diploma courses is given based on their score in NEET PG 2017.
Candidates have to qualify NEET-SS conducted by NBE to get admission into Super Specialty course offered by the college.
Admission into Diploma in Pharmacy course is given on the basis of the candidates’ performance in the entrance test conducted by UP State Medical Faculty, Lucknow.
